STOPAQ materials have been developed to be environmentally friendly, cold applied in the field & need minimal surface preparation so they do not endanger health or risk our environment.

R & D

STOPAQ EUROPE B.V. Invests highly in Research and Development to maintain its technological lead and develop new applications. Testing and reasearch is carried out in the laboratory at Stadskanaal. The high quality of the products is continuously monitored according to sound quality procedures, from concept to application.

TRAINING

Trained and qualified personnel are an integral part of a successful protective coatings and corrosion control program. STOPAQ provides practical training for Applicators, Inspectors, Managers, and Engineers.

Our Training programs include technical and practical instruction in:

Corrosion theory and corrosion control principles and methods
Protective visco-elastic coatings technology
Surface preparation and coating application techniques
inspection

The attendants will be rewarded with a STOPAQ Certificate. Training can be carried out in house or within our bespoke training centre located within our factory complex. Our training center has modern classroom facilities as well as full scale outdoor pipeline systems where practical application training of products can be conducted.

SEALING

FN2100

FN2100 is a sealing compound that can stop an active waterleak. It is an easy solution for repairing and preventing water leakage at cable and pope wall entries.

CORROSION PREVENTION

Wrappingband CZ H

Visco-elastic polymer coating in a wrap form for above and underground pipelines application such as bends, tees, flanges, risers and joints. The wrap makes it easy to apply with little surface preparation. The Wrappingband can be easily and quickly applied by hand creating an excelent barrier againts corrosion.

CZ H Paste

Mouldable corrosion prevention paste supplied in sheets. Suitable up to 70°C. Can also be delivered in a low temperature version up to 50°C (CZ Paste).

FN4100

Corrosion prevention putty supplied in tubes and sausages for underground pipeline flanges, valves, fitting and casings. The FN4100 can easily be hand-applied by special application guns or manually moulded. Suitable up to 25°C.

FN4200

Corrosion prevention injection filler for above ground flanges and tank bottom chime areas. It protects the space between the flange plates againts the ingress of moisture and once applied, FN4200 remains flexible forever and does not flow from vertical and inclined surfaces.

Casing Filler

STOPAQ Casing Filler is the most suitable method for the filling of the annulus space of pipeline casing. This high dielectric material is hot-installed by a heated tank truck and pumped down the casing vent as a hot liquid.
